Hey folks! Welcome to Caster Clubhouse, the newest blog and fansite in the MetaZoo community.
My name is Alex, though some of you know me as EnbyCaster, MxAlexBC, or Mx_Alex depending upon the platform. I use they/them pronouns, and I’m an Apprentice MetaZoologist from Canada. I’ve been playing MetaZoo since the 1st edition of Cryptid Nation, their very first core set – though not always very well – and I’m keen to expand the fandom and community resources of my favourite TCG.
You may have already encountered some of my projects; I’m the administrator and main editor behind the MetaZoo Fandom Wiki, and I wrote what was probably the first MetaZoo fanfiction ever written. I’ve also shared glimpses into other projects I’m working on, such as a MetaZoo-based forum, a token generating spreadsheet, and downloadable damage counters. I have more things I’m working on as well, and my hope is that this blog can be a centralized way to share those things with you in the future.
You can expect other things from me as well, of course. I plan to use Caster Clubhouse to write about popular deck builds, statistic breakdowns, errata and rulings, guides on how to play certain combos or effects, and things about MetaZoo’s history and upcoming releases, and anything else that you might want to see. In the future, I’d like to showcase people’s fanworks and other submissions, and even host guest authors! If there’s something in particular you’d like to see, by all means – let me know, and I’ll see what I can do.
